Men wash their more often than women as they do it 2 to 3 times a week. With the frequency of wash days, this doesn’t make following a hair regimen easy. Most men don’t know where to start. There are a variety of shampoos, conditioners, moisturizers, and other products. All of which seems very important to your regimen. With all of the information available, it can become overwhelming So, we decided to make it easier for you.

We have created a natural hair care routine/regimen that you can follow.
It’s simple and it’s catered for you, men.

Here is the 4-step regimen for you to follow for men:

SHAMPOO:
For the shampoo, you need a sulfate-free shampoo.
Sulfates are bad for your hair as it withdraws all the natural sebum from the scalp which you need. It will leave the hair feeling extremely dry and prone to breakage. Sebum coats the new growth by providing it with minerals, vitamins, and other nutrients needed to grow its hair. When you pick up your next bottle of shampoo, ensure that there are no sulfates contained in it, at all.

Apply a few pumps or squeeze your shampoo into your damp hair.
Then, massage it into the scalp using the pads of your finger.

Massaging the scalp helps to remove the product build-up on the scalp and your hair. In addition, it removes the excess oils and debris that are on your scalp. Then, you rinse the hair to ensure the hair is 100% squeaky clean. 

DEEP CONDITION:
Next you deep condition your hair. No, you do not have to sit under a hairdryer for 45 minutes, but you do not have to keep it in for a maximum of 15 minutes. Deep conditioners are beneficial for revitalizing the hair. The hair has been exposed to all elements of the weather (depending on the area you live in) which is harmful. So, we need to protect, strengthen, and hydrate the hair.

Apply a glob to your hair and work it in. Ensure that the deep conditioner coats every one of your hair strands. Place a shower cap on for 10 to 15 minutes. Then rinse it out. Your hair should feel soft, smooth, and supple.

MOISTURISER:
See were on step 3 with only one more step to go. The next step is to moisturize your kinks/coils/curls. Luckily for you, it is not a 3-step routine that requires a lot of products. You are looking for a creamy moisturizer that contains water, butter, and oils.  Water should be the first ingredient as you need it to be a water-based moisturizer. Why? Well, water is the best hydrator for your hair. And the oils and creams in the moisturizer function as a sealant. So, they keep the moisture locked in. 

Apply the moisturizer to damp hair so the hair can better absorb the product. As a rule of thumb, don’t overburden your hair with the moisturizer. 

BEARD OIL:
So now we're on the ultimate step. You did not think we would forget the beard - did you? Some of you struggle with growing your beard or growing it to your desired length.
